Australian Guidelines for the Management of Acute Whiplash Associated Disorders for Health Professionals
Once a patient’s likelihood of recovery has been assessed through the WhipPredict tool, it is recommended to follow the treatments outlined in the Australian Guidelines for the management of Acute Whiplash Associated Disorders for Health Professionals. These Guidelines translate the current evidence base into clinical practice recommendations for the best possible management of adults with a whiplash injury in the first 12 weeks.
The third edition of the Guidelines, published in December 2014, is currently being reviewed by a working group of healthcare professionals, industry representatives and technical experts, including members of the RECOVER Injury Research Centre team.
