Topic: Characterisation of sensory, motor and psychological features of neck/shoulder symptoms among sonographers.

People who perform ultrasound screening (sonographers) experience an alarming prevalence of neck pain. This study aims to investigate:

  1. Whether muscle, sensory and psychosocial impairments exist in sonographers with neck pain; and,
  2. Determine factors predicting the development and persistence of neck pain and disability among sonographers.
