Background

This project will gain the perspective of various stakeholders on the barriers and enablers for work after a road traffic crash.

Aims

To identify the perceptions and experiences of the return to work process following road traffic crash (RTC) from the point of view of the person with the injury, the health providers, the workplace representatives and the insurance and legal representatives.

Progress

Consumer engagement

We will work with consumers (claimants, clinicians, employers and case managers) to develop the best ways to disseminate the findings of the research.

Who benefits from the research?

The primary beneficiaries are those injured in a road traffic crash. However, health care providers, employers and insurers will benefit from a greater understanding of the factors associated with return to work with injury.
