This project will follow people who have been involved in a road traffic crash for 12 months to understand their work recovery journey.

The specific aims are:

  1. to plot the trajectory of return to work following road traffic crash, for people who had been working prior to their road traffic crash;
  2. to determine the factors that predict work outcomes at 6 and 12 months after their road traffic crash;
  3. to use ambulatory monitoring to quantify physical activity in a group of participants and how this relates to work outcomes; and
  4. to validate two screening tools to predict poor functional outcome and non-return to work after a road traffic crash.
