Helen Gray is the Knowledge Translation and Engagement Manager for RECOVER.

Knowledge translation is about sharing research findings in ways that are clear, practical, and relevant. Helen's role focuses on making research more accessible, understandable, and useful for the patients, clinicians, communities, and policymakers it is intended to benefit.

A key part of Helen’s work involves engaging stakeholders in the research process - especially health consumers and community members. She supports meaningful consumer and community involvement in research, ensuring that people with lived experience have a voice in shaping research priorities, study design, and the communication of results. This helps ensure that research at RECOVER is grounded, inclusive, and responsive to real-world needs.

Helen holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication and has a background in science communication. She has previously worked with the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health, TAFE Queensland, and CSIRO.
