Nicole is a Research Officer at the RECOVER Injury Research Centre, working within the Improving Health Outcomes after Musculoskeletal Injury program. Her role focuses on the design and implementation of single-case experimental design studies to evaluate multidisciplinary interventions for musculoskeletal injuries sustained in road traffic incidents.
Nicole completed her PhD in Psychology at The University of Queensland in 2025, where she investigated the efficacy and mechanisms of mind-body therapies for pain management in injured athletes. She holds a Master of Clinical Research from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) from The University of Queensland. Her work aims to support the development of personalised approaches to injury rehabilitation that are both practical and clinically impactful.
