Robert is a Research Officer who joined the RECOVER Injury Research Centre in 2024. He is part of the Technology-enabled rehabilitation team, which focuses on developing more effective and efficient health services supported by technology innovation.

Robert's PhD project revolved around the application of Virtual Reality (VR) for burn injury rehabilitation. Using collaborative design with burn survivors and healthcare professionals, he developed a functional VR rehabilitation prototype tailored for burn injuries. He then led an evaluation process within the burn survivor community, ensuring the application aligned with end-users' needs and expectations.

Robert's research interests include the application of serious games in healthcare settings.
