Topic: Classification of Whiplash Associated Disorders Using Contemporary Evidence

Junze holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Sydney. He completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science/Education at Southern Cross University and Tianjin University of Sport.

Junze developed an interest in research through a scholarship at the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health of the Royal Princes Hospital, where he investigated the effects of physical activity intervention on balance and falls in the middle-aged population.

He has a strong interest in chronic pain management and works within a multidisciplinary pain management team in Victoria. He is passionate about taking an evidence-based and person-centred approach to support people managing chronic pain, particularly whiplash disorders. His broad research goal is to update the QTF Classification for Whiplash Associated Disorders and its response to different treatment modules.

Outside of research, he enjoys exercising, spending time with his partner, playing with his dogs, and exploring Google Maps.
