The University of Queensland invites you to our Consumer Roundtable 2024. This event brings together community members and researchers to discuss rural and regional health health priorities.
What does it involve?
- Small group discussions withresearchers and communitymembers on research priorities
- Short presentations fromregional health consumers &research groups
- Morning tea and lunch provided
- Consumers who take part will be given a gift voucher to thank them for their time.
When is it?
- Wednesday 14th February 2024 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
- Dalby Events Centre
- Consumers travelling from outside Dalby will be provided support for travel costs.
- Registrations will re-open in early 2024.

2022 Consumer Roundtable
RECOVER co-hosted a Consumer Roundtable 2022: Bringing researchers to the consumer table to explore telehealth with the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine on Monday the 10th of October 2022 at the beautiful Victoria Park Garden Room, Herston.
This was a consumer-led event and attendees included thirty-five consumers and twenty-two academics representing schools and centres across both faculties.

2020 Consumer and Community Forum
RECOVER hosted its second Consumer and Community Online Forum on 19 November 2020.
The forum was designed for people affected by injury (including family members and caregivers), as well as interested community members, community organisations and health professionals.

2019 Consumer and Community Forum
RECOVER hosted its first Consumer and Community Forum on 12 November 2019.The forum provided consumers with an overview of the research being conducted at RECOVER, along with small group activities and discussions designed to explore ways that consumers can become more involved. This forum is designed for people affected by injury (including family members and caregivers), as well as interested community members, community organisations and health professionals.
