Researcher biography
Thomas is a research assistant at the RECOVER Research Injury Centre. After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 2020 with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology, he has worked in community-based clinical settings in the compensable space.
Thomas joined the RECOVER team in 2025 for the PICOT clinical trial. Along with his responsibilities as a Research Assistant, he is also conducting additional research into the effects of exercise on Chronic Whiplash.
Thomas also works as an Exercise Physiologist in a mobile rehabilitation role. He enjoys working with chronic pain, mental illness and oncology. He implements an evidence-based approach to helping his clients return to work and meaningful activities.
