Kim Smith was appointed Manager for the Centre for Research Excellence - Better Health Outcomes for Compensable Injury in June 2022. She coordinates the research program's activities including finance, human resources, governance and communications. Previously, Kim was Marketing and Engagement Coordinator at Queensland University of Technology's Centre for Accident Research & Road Safety - QLD (CARRS-Q), RECOVER's sister research centre funded by the Motor Accident Insurance Commission. Kim is an engagement professional and has more than 25 years’ experience in administration and project management across multiple sectors.
