Lisa is a Clinical Trials Manager at RECOVER Research Injury Centre.  Since graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) in 2001, and a Master of Speech Pathology Studies in 2003, Lisa has worked concurrently in research and clinical settings. 

Lisa Joined the RECOVER team in 2023 to manage the PRioRTI (PReventing chronic pain after whiplash Road Traffic Injury) trial.  Led by Professor Michele Sterling, PRioRTI is a double blind placebo-controlled randomised controlled trial to evaluate treatment with pregabalin as a preventor of chronic pain development after whiplash injury.  Lisa brings to the team over 10 years of clinical trial experience, having previously managed clinical trials in an organ transplant population, and more recently working in an advisory role for a clinical trial sponsor in trials ranging from cancers and immunotherapy to surgical interventions and psychedelics. 

Lisa also holds hospital appointments as a Speech Pathologist in an acute adult population.
