Fatima Amershi completed her BSc in Honours Life Science at McMaster University in Canada and then completed her Master in Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland.

Fatima works as a Senior Occupational Therapist at the Tess Cramond Pain and Research Centre and the Orthopaedic Spinal Screening Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Fatima has an avid passion for working in the persistent pain space and is looking to enhance clinical practices. She is an early career researcher and her contributions to research are focused on enabling improved participation for patients through innovative rehabilitation approaches in the area of persistent pain management.
