Researcher biography

Ms Danielle Aldridge is a qualified speech pathologist who joined RECOVER Injury Research Centre in the role of senior research assistant in January 2019.  She has extensive experience in clinical roles within hospital and community health settings both in Australia and the United Kingdom.  In addition, she has contributed to the development and implementation of clinical practice courses within The University of Queensland’s speech pathology programs.  Prior to joining the Technology-enabled rehabilitation team within RECOVER, Danielle had worked in a number of research-focused roles in the areas of voice and motor speech disorders, and the clinical education of speech pathology students.  Most recently, she served as a senior project officer on the national “Embedding simulation in clinical training in Speech Pathology” project, which was funded by the Australian Department of Health and supported by Speech Pathology Australia.
