Dr Elise Gane was recently interviewed by reporter Chris Lees of the Townsville Bulletin to discuss a research program she is leading. The study, Functional outcomes following a road traffic crash, is designed to help people recover from road traffic crashes.
The study is currently recruiting participants through the Townsville Hospital, as well as other sites in Queensland. The Emergency Medicine Research Director at the hospital, Dr Vinay Gangathimmaiah (pictured) - who is a key collaborator on the project - says the study could improve people’s rehabilitation from injury.
